A wonderfully ornate 12 light chandelier from De Majo on a golden frame, made by hand from milky white (lattimo), and gold Murano glass.

The beauty of the classic Venetian style is that the dimensions of all the handcrafted chandeliers are extremely generous. This is tradition dating back to the golden age of Venice, when enormous chandliers were commissioned for the large Venetian palazzi, which had vast rooms with high ceilings. This lovely chandelier is no exception, measuring over a metre and a half in height, and weighing 90 kilogrammes.

The detailing, as you can see in the photos, is exquisite.
