Historical Venetian designs and ancient techniques are brought together with modern LED illumination to create this charming Murano crystal flush-fitting ceiling light, entirely hand-made on the famous island.

The mould for this beautiful ceiling lantern is first fashioned from bronze wire. The glass-master next blows the molten glass into the frame where it expands into the lovely curved shape you see here.  The hot glass is then stamped with a mould while the glass is still hot, to create a raised criss-cross pattern on the glass. This is a very typical centuries-old Venetian glass-making design, which is still very popular today.

The surround is available in dark rust or chrome.

This flush fitting can also be used as a wall light.
